BIS Apprentice Survey 2015-2018

As part of their Automotive Sector Industrial Strategy, the Automotive Council are committed to recruiting at least 7,600 additional apprentices and 1,700 graduates by 2018 – a goal now reflected in their aims of the Automotive Industrial Partnership. This is a key element of their approach to ensuring that skilled people need to realise the sector’s ambitious growth plans.

BIS would like your help in updating the Automotive Council’s data on actual recruitment and projections to 2018.

We hope you will be able to contribute, so that you can provide input to their survey and demonstrate the continued importance that employers in the niche sector place on recruiting and developing skilled people.

Be assured that any data you submit will be treated in the strictest confidence – it will only be available to the small team within BIS leading this work, and will not be shared with any other companies.  BIS will aggregate the data collected for wider publication; individual companies will not be identified.

To submit data to this survey please download the (click on link) BIS Apprentice Survey 2015-2018 and return to the contact identified on the instructions tab by 19th June 2015.
