The latest round of APC Grant Funding has opened its doors for applications.

If your consortium has a research and development project, that can deliver significant reductions in vehicle CO₂ emissions, then you could apply for a share of the £35 million grant investment available.

To be in with a shot of becoming one of the next APC Grant Funded Projects, you must have registered for the competition by 23 March 2016, and have submitted your application by 30 March 2016.

To apply for funding your consortia project must be able to demonstrate the development of propulsion technologies based around one or more of the following technology areas:

• internal combustion engines
• lightweight vehicle and powertrain structures
• electric machines and power electronics
• energy storage and energy management
• alternative propulsion systems

Total eligible project costs will be between £5 million and £40 million and projects are expected to last between 18 and 42 months.
