Mel bows out of Raw Striker

Mel Coppock has announced his retirement from Raw Striker. He has sold the business to Callum and Jeremy Bulmer, a well known Herefordshire family. He is pleased that Callum and Jeremy have a passion for the Striker. Jeremy Bulmer has owned one for a while now along with his rebuilt Lotus S3.

Callum and Jeremy have very exciting ideas on promotion and intend to invest in the business to take it to its next level. They also intend to keep the business in Herefordshire thereby retaining the excellent skill base that has been built up over the last eight years.

Mel said that he is pleased to sell it to enthusiasts who have the resources to build on all that has been achieved to date. He would like to give a very big thank you all customers and suppliers who have supported him along with the very loyal workforce who will be continuing under the new owners.

Martin Jones the chief engineer who is well known to the customers will still be able to give the very excellent customer support he has always done previously.

Mel will be withdrawing as the new owners get their feet under the table. He says that it has been a privilege to be a part of such a brilliant car. A genuine giant killer. He has stated the project has never disappointed him and he will retain many special memories. We all wish Callum and Jeremy all the very best and hopes that they can boost Raw’s place in the market in future years.
