The UKTI have engaged with the British Consulate in Monterrey, Mexico, on developing a market visit to open up the Mexican market to UK companies and to help them enter this market with as little risk and expense as possible.

This visit will take place at the beginning of February.

The UKTI are aware that the Mexican manufacturing industry has emerged as one of the country’s most important sectors, attracting major investment and creating employment opportunities.  The Exhibition, Expo Manufactura, plays a key role in connecting the Mexican industrial community with the manufacturing and transformation sectors in the Northern region on the country.  It is also a place that you can engage with companies from other South American countries.  The UKTI have stand space at this exhibition for use by those companies who join the visit.

This visit will be most useful to British suppliers of industrial products, tools, machinery, instruments, manufacturing technologies and general providers to the manufacturing sectors.

This visit will enable you to explore the opportunities at a low cost, enabling you to do your research at the show and also providing you with some great networking opportunities. There is also funding available of £650 towards the costs of the visit if your company is eligible to receive this Market Visit Support. Your International Trade Adviser will be able to let you know if you qualify for this. As part of the programme there will be site / company visits arranged for you to join.
